Playing bingo with our puzzles
Bingo is a popular game. It has simple rules, which makes it a great first game for toddlers, but bingo is also fun for older children and the whole family. Here’s how to play:
- Each player should have the same number of boards. Lay out the tokens.
- The simple version of this game involves leaving the tokens face up and racing against the other players to complete your board as fast as possible. This variant hones perceptiveness and reflexes, and can be played with younger children.
- For a classic memory game, place the tokens face down and take turns flipping them over to find a match. Each player who finds a matching piece places it on their board and keeps playing. If a player does not find a match, the next player takes a turn. Whoever completes their board first, wins.
- If there are 3 players, you can set aside the extra board(s) and tokens. Or, to make the game more challenging, leave the extra tokens in the pool!
- When playing with children, you can pretend to make mistakes on purpose.
- You can also add a rule that each player needs to name the vehicle, imitate the sound it makes or the way it moves before they can place the token on their board.
