Developmental milestones for 4-year-olds

Is your child a preschooler? This is amazing! Four year olds have already accomplished so much! They can communicate effectively and know a lot of words. Even though they sometimes pretend not to, they do understand what you say to them. Their vocabulary grows everyday and they can form long and more complicated sentences. They become more independent, like to play with friends. Their physical development is outstanding. You can notice that they grow rapidly and become more coordinated. They also require less help with everyday tasks such as dressing up. It is a good time to engage in activities that enhance fine motor skills that eventually will lead to writing.
A 4-year-old is like a little scientist. He or she asks many questions (do you know the question “why”?), investigates, experiments, and has a hobby. Playing with friends becomes more important but do not forget that your child still needs and loves to spend valuable time with you.

What is really worth choosing for a 4-year-old?

Childrens’ psychologists and specialists advise: at this age it is important to play sports and use as little electronics as possible. Instead, choose puzzles, games and creative books. Engage in activities such as drawing, reading, telling stories, start to play with numbers and letters. At Banana Panda we know how important the role of play is. So we make beautiful educational and creative toys that are appreciated by caregivers and loved by children. Our toys are made of safe and certified materials, and have a high educational value.
We follow the child and support its natural development so our products are adapted to a child’s age. We give parents and children space for their own fun. What is most important, children love to play with them!
Please note that while assembling puzzles, children train their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, memory, expand their vocabulary and imagination. It is a great way to learn new things, prepare to read and count, learn about nature and the human body, develop hobbies and train fine motor skills. Our products cover a variety of topics and improve children’s STEM skills.
